A nice post by David Farrar of Kiwiblog – You say it’s luck, I say you’re lazy
It is amazing to see in this 21st Century people still blaming luck for their shortfalls. I dont say luck or destiny plays no part, it sure has its own say but one needs to play around it! If something is not working for you, you try again – as, if you dont go for it again you are a loser. But a person just doesn’t give up then you’re an idiot! try something else, something bigger, better, keep those juices flowing in your brain!! This reminds me of George Ambler’s blog post – Keeping Unscheduled Time. How important it is for one to sit and reflect on his/her daily actions.
